Sony Xperia ZL Review: First View

not even having new products, the company Sony constantly collects many people from their stand on the exhibition MWC in Barcelona.

This time, the Japanese company brought Sony Xperia Z and smartphones, as well as the Sony Xperia Tablet Z Tablet

Smartphone Xperia Z was Originally presented at the CES 2013 exhibition and is already available in some markets.

Since we have already acquainted with Xperia Z, now we will pay our attention to Xperia ZL, which has not yet been on sale.

Features of the smartphone Sony Xperia ZL

Note that Xperia ZL has the same "stuffing" as the flagship Xperia Z gadget. It works on the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset with a 4-core Krait processor (clock frequency of 1.5 GHz) and with a graphics accelerator ADRENO 320, as well as 2 GB of RAM.

We are dealing with the same 5-inch display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, a 13 megapixel camera. The version of the Android 4.1.2 operating system Jelly Bean seems identical to the promised update to version 4.2 at the end of the year.

But in the protection parameters of the Sony Xperia ZL lags behind, since the only defense is a stable glass scratch, but no measures are taken from dust and moisture.

Having lost these advantages, the gadget was supposed to get something new. This innovation turned out to be IR port, as well as the phone became more compact, although slightly thicker and harder.

Front Sony Xperia ZL looks like Xperia Z, but on the back is completely different. It is made entirely of glossy plastic and has a rather ugly in the lower part, which covers the SIM compartment and slot microSD. Camera lenses are also placed differently.

As for the net performance, it is very close to Xperia Z, which is confirmed by tests.

In the near future, we will publish a more detailed review of Sony Xperia ZL.
