Prestigio Graphene PD Pro review: graphene power bank with fast and wireless charging

In 2020, Prestigio announced the release of the first in Europe of an external graphene battery. This is a promising technology that has a number of advantages before being common today lithium-ion workers. A premium model of external graphene acb - Graphene PD Pro came to us on the review.

The advantages of accumulators based on graphene technology are that with an equal capacity, they are compact and easier than lithium-ion devices, less heat and demonstrate a longer service life.

If we speak specifically about the Graphene PD Pro model from Prestigio, here we promise a threefold increase in the service life of the device. Also among features - support for quick and wireless charging, the ability to fill the charge of a laptop or several devices at the same time, restoring your own capacity for 100 minutes. The cost of the battery is 6,990 rubles. Read more about Prestigio Grapane PD Pro will tell our review.

appearance and equipment

Battery Grapane PD PRO packaged In a fairly large cardboard box with an image of a device, a list of characteristics and key features. Almost all the information is indicated on the English, which can hint on the product positioning for foreign markets and in general gives him a raid premium.

The box opens as a book, which enhances the impression of the fact that in the hands of a serious and quite expensive device. Inside in plastic packaging is visible battery. Looking ahead, I note that it looks really impressive and the fact that you can look at him before he falls into his hands, only strengthens the desire to quickly hold it and consider it closer.

Inside the box in a separate plastic packaging there is a battery. It is closed from two sides with films that protect him from fingerprints and other troubles. An impressive equipment is posted in a separate cardboard box.

together with the user's battery are waiting:

  • Power supply 60 W with flat contacts and USB-C cable 1.5 meters;
  • adapter to the Euroreset;
  • Cable in USB-C - USB-A braid 1 meter long;
  • leather case;
  • instruction;
  • Warranty card.

Before moving directly to the battery, I note that all accessories are made high quality and thoughtfully. The case is pretty hard, literally with an effort tensioned on the battery. There is a feeling that over time he does not stretch and will not turn into an unnecessary trash.

The adapter is installed on the power supply without special difficulties, but it does not chat and sits firmly. I am glad the length of the cables: often the set to plibs is applied with a launder of 10-20 cm long, which are not too comfortable to use.

The battery has a glass surface from above and below. Side faces are made of aluminum. A wireless charging symbol is applied on the top panel, on the bottom - the name of the brand. On the back of the connectors and other information about the model is listed.

On the front panel there is a display for displaying the container, two USB-A, USB-C, a pair of LEDs and a power button. USB-A are numbered. This is done so that the user does not confuse: the first connector provides the standard charge rate, the second - quick with a power of 18 W. USB-C is able to extract the power of 45 watts, which is enough to power some laptops. He serves to charge the panibank.

Delibank has quite small dimensions (for a capacity of 20,000 mAh), but the claimed weight of 410 grams of reality does not match. Kitchen scales have shown that in fact the battery weighs about 460 grams. On the one hand, it is quite a lot, but on the other, the materials (aluminum and glass) affect.

The overall impression of the panibank is positive. It looks in fact cool. Of course, the glass is very marked, but, contrary to expectations, rain the prints is not difficult. The battery is assembled carefully and high-quality - gaps or some curves I did not find. A separate respect is a set - long and high-quality cables, and even another case, which for this device is definitely not superfluous.

Battery in

Graphene PD Pro is a battery capacity of 20,000 mAh capable, according to the manufacturer's statements, to provide up to six charges of the smartphone battery and One, full, laptop battery.

I will immediately say that the last statement could not be verified, since I have no suitable laptop. However, I accidentally met comrade with a suitable laptop. Checked - the charge goes, that is, it is felt for these purposes.

Depending on the battery capacity of the smartphone, the stated values were achieved. The device with a battery of 3000 mAh charged 6 times, and the model with a battery 5000 mAh was charged almost 4 full times.

USB-A connectors really provide different charging time. This confirms the smartphone that reports that there is a quick or standard charging and the duration of the process, cutting when connecting to the second USB-A (supporting QC 3.0).

LEDs are indicators: the blue signals the wireless charging, and the green reports that the charging process is underway.

Wireless charging works, while the battery can not be taken from the case. This is a positive moment, since the desires of choking a smartphone on a glass surface usually does not occur. The playground is large - it is not necessary to try on, it is enough to put the phone on the panibank and press the power button so that the charging process begins.

It should be noted that the button must be pressed for wired charging, and for wireless. Otherwise, the process will not begin.

The instruction indicates that the beliefs can charge multiple devices at the same time. Based on the fact that we have three physical connections and wireless charging, the devices can be connected at once. I checked at the same time on three - everything works fine.

An interesting point is associated with end-to-end charging. The manufacturer indicates that this method of connection is not recommended, as this can lead to overheating and rapid battery output. In my case, such a connection does not work in principle - there is a chalk, but does not give it.

As for the replenishment of the capacity of the battery itself, the manufacturer declared 100 minutes using the standard power supply of 60 W. My calculations showed that this statement corresponds to reality. The difference in multiple measurements was less than 5 minutes, while I did not notice the heating. A similar situation is observed when the charge is transmitted - regardless of the connected devices and their quantity, the Graphene PD Pro remains cool.

Before highlighting the pros and cons, I note that the appearance of graphene batteries only is planned. To compare at the moment nothing with which, therefore, to say whether the product from Prestigio corresponds to the possibilities of graphene acb, while it is difficult.

From what promises the manufacturer is:

  1. No heating. Battery Graphene PD Pro is really not heated.
  2. Reduced dimensions and weight. Overworked beliefs approximately similar to these indicators with conventional lithium-ion models. But, if you make a discount on the used case materials, then the advantage of Graphene PD Pro really is, but not significant.
  3. Service life. This parameter is not possible at this stage of the review, it takes time.

If we evaluate the Graphene PD Pro as an ordinary deliberate, then we have a capacious battery with support for fast and wireless charging, the ability to fill the container in several devices at the same time, including laptops. Pleases here set, build quality, appearance, ease of use.

From the minuses you can select a typebound case (this is completely compensated by the presence of a cover) and quite a large weight (you have to carry with you almost half aologram).
