The announcement of the new phone Nokia Asha 311 took place in June 2012. This device supports two SIM-cards, is equipped with a 3G module and in many respects resembles a smartphone, although it is not.
Appearance
Phone Nokia Asha 311 is made in the form factor of a plastic monoblock. Almost the entire front surface is occupied by a touch screen, under which there are control buttons, and above it - a logo and light and proximity sensors. On the back side you can see the "peephole" of the camera and the company logo.
The assembly of the device is well done: there are no squeaks during operation and no backlash.
The body of the device is ergonomic: it is comfortable to hold and the material is pleasant to the touch.
Asha 311 measures 106x52x12.9mm and weighs 95g.
Performance and software
The device works on the Series 40 platform. Nokia Asha 311 has at its disposal 256 MB of internal memory, of which 120 MB is available to the user, and another 128 MB is assigned to RAM. There is a slot for memory cards microSD (max. 32 GB). The clock frequency of the hardware central processor is 1 GHz.
Asha 311 comes pre-installed with email clients, a browser, instant messaging programs, audio and video players, and Nokia cards.
The device supports 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 modules.
The phone is sold with Angry Birds installed.

The Nokia Asha 311 phone has a 3-inch TFT resistive touch screen with a resolution of 400x240 pixels. Color rendition - 65536 shades. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla glass.
Image quality is good for a display with this resolution, and viewing angles are small.
Camera
The Nokia Asha 311 is equipped with a 3.2-megapixel camera that allows you to take photos with a maximum resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. It has autofocus and white balance function. The quality of photos taken on this phone is average, as blurring often appears, and the color gamut is unnatural.
The camera also allows you to record video with a resolution of 640x480 pixels with a frequency of 25 frames per second.
The front camera in ASHA 311 is not provided.

The phone is equipped with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 1110 mAh, which will allow working offline mode up to 14 hours (in 2G networks) and up to 6 hours (in 3G networks) in conversation mode, up to 696 hours (in 2G networks) and up to 744 hours (in 3G networks) in standby mode, up to 40 hours in mode listening to music.
