The Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite tablet was announced in July 2012, and it will go on sale in September. The novelty is a slightly "stripped down" version of the well-known tablet computer MediaPad 7, but it will cost only about 200 euros.

Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite, although it belongs to budget gadgets, its body is made of aluminum using unibody technology, that is, the back cover of the tablet cannot be removed. The novelty has a minimalistic design typical of modern low-cost devices: almost the entire front surface is occupied by a display, above which there is a front video camera, the frame is quite wide, and on the back side there is the main camera, slots for the speaker and the company logo.

The assembly of MediaPad 7 Lite is done very well: there are no backlashes or squeaks during operation.

The dimensions of the device are 193x120x11 mm, and the weight is 370 g.

Performance and operating system

Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite is based on the Cortex-A8 processor with a clock speed of 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory (there is a slot microSD ). These characteristics allow you to work very quickly, process data, run and work with various applications, games, and programs for office work.

MediaPad 7 Lite runs Android 4.0.4 operating system and has the following pre-installed applications: MS Office, PDF Viewer, Google Maps, Google Talk, Google Play Store, SW Upgrade, Android Widgets and some other programs and games.

Tablet Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite is equipped with a 3.2-megapixel base chamber, which also allows you to record video in HD format with a frequency of 30 Personnels per second. In general, the camera is not bad, but to use it as a substitute for a regular camera, of course, it will not work, as the quality of the pictures obtained is lame.

There is also a MediaPad 7 Lite and a frontal 0.3-megapixel camera for video link.
